Thank you for choosing Kamm Chocolates. We are committed to delivering exceptional chocolate made with care from Ecuadorian cacao. Please review the following policies before placing your order.
Shipping Policy
Order Processing
- Orders are processed Monday through Friday.
- Please allow 1–2 business days for processing before shipment.
- Orders placed after 12:00 PM Eastern Time may be processed the next business day.
- During warm weather, we may hold orders to ship at the start of the week to avoid weekend transit and minimize melt risk.
Shipping Methods and Timeframes
- We ship only within the United States.
- Standard shipping typically arrives within 2–5 business days after dispatch.
- Expedited shipping options are available at checkout for faster delivery.
- Transit times may vary depending on your location and carrier delays.
Warm Weather Packaging
- During warm months or shipping to hot climates, we may use insulated packaging and ice packs to help protect your chocolates.
- Ice packs help reduce (but do not eliminate) the risk of melting. We recommend selecting expedited shipping when temperatures exceed 75°F (24°C).
Delivery Responsibility
- Once your order leaves our facility, we are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS).
- Please monitor your tracking information and ensure someone is available to receive the package promptly upon delivery.
- Kamm Chocolates is not liable for melted or damaged products resulting from unattended packages or incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
Shipping Costs
- Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and the selected service.
- Free shipping promotions may be offered periodically and will be applied automatically if eligible.
Tracking Your Order
- When your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number.
- Use this information to follow your shipment’s progress and prepare for delivery.
Return & Refund Policy
Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final, and we do not accept returns or exchanges except in the limited cases described below.
Eligible Cases for Refund or Replacement
We will gladly offer a replacement or refund if:
- Incorrect Item or Flavor Received – You received a product different from what you ordered.
- Damaged During Shipping – Your chocolates arrived melted beyond salvage, crushed, or otherwise severely damaged.
- Missing Items – Your shipment is incomplete.
- Product Quality Issue – Your order shows signs of contamination, spoilage, or another defect.
Non-Eligible Cases
We cannot offer refunds or replacements for:
- Change of mind or ordering the wrong item by mistake.
- Dislike of the taste.
- Delivery delays once the package has been shipped.
- Improper storage after delivery (e.g., left outdoors in heat or sunlight).
Claim Requirements
To request a refund or replacement:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Include your order number.
- Attach clear photos showing the issue.
Claims submitted after 48 hours or without supporting photos may not be eligible.
